Having enough staff on the job means better care for residents and less stress for caregivers. But too often, we find ourselves working without adequate staffing which can make our jobs more difficult and lessen the quality time we can spend with each resident.
Instead of making cost-savings their top priority, we need our employers to put quality resident care above all else, which includes making sure we have adequate staffing levels in all of our facilities.
“As a CNA, my #1 priority is giving my residents the best possible care. That’s why it is critical we make sure we have the staffing support we need to give our residents the care they deserve.”    Â
