Healthcare workers at Chestnut Hill Hospital in Philadelphia came together for a coworker who they believed was unjustly terminated.
Their coworker had been a valuable, model employee of the hospital for fifteen years, taking great pride in her work and the care and service she delivered to patients.
Workers demanded management meet to address the situation and reconsider their decision to terminate. They even had a special sticker day to support their coworker.
Their unified, direct action paid off. Management sat down with workers, reviewed the situation, and the employee was reinstated.
Chestnut Hill Hospital caregivers showed the power of fairness and strength through their union!
