Kelly Blacker, a CNA at Dunmore Health Care, gave a powerful speech after a nursing home picket on June 8, 2022 about the trauma and issues that she and fellow nursing home workers deal with every day.

Kelly spoke about her dedication to providing quality resident care while essential nursing home caregivers are still working under poverty wages, a catastrophic short-staffing crisis, the trauma of working through the COVID-19 pandemic and watching residents die and co-workers become gravely ill.
