It’s time to hold our Chapter Elections!
We urge all SEIU Healthcare PA members to get involved in your local union. Each local worksite or Dept. of Health district can elect a President, Vice President, Secretary, and Delegates.
Delegates are sometimes called stewards in other unions and are elected worksite union representatives. To be eligible for office you need to be a member in good standing of the Union, sign a commitment form, and gather signatures from your coworkers to be their representative.
Here is the simple process:
Download, print and fill out your two-page commitment form and petition that you are interested in running for chapter officer or delegate.
You must gather signatures from 2% of the SEIU HCPA members at your facility. (Your own signature counts).
Members will have two weeks to collect signatures. The deadline for your local interim election will be emailed to all members ahead of the filing deadline. All completed forms and materials must be emailed by the deadline to: stateelections@seiuhcpa.org
