News for Union Saber Workers
Congratulations on ratifying our new contract!
Highlights:
- Raises of up to $3 an hour for some workers and average raises of 20% over the life of the agreement
- Union health insurance for all workers
- Wage scales and longevity bonuses that reward staff who showed up for residents throughout the Covid-19 pandemic
- A contractually enforceable commitment to safe staffing
Effective March 1, 2023 for full-time employees:
- Single-Coverage: Employer covers 75% of the premium
- Dependent-Coverage: Employer covers 70% of the premium, improvement from 50/50
