The past three years have been tough. We’ve been through a pandemic, an ongoing staffing crisis, and the integration of our two hospitals. On top of that, the cost of living just keeps going up. But we’ve never been stronger as a union. For the first time ever, we’ll be negotiating a new contract as 1,000 union members strong.

We’re more determined than ever to negotiate a contract that makes significant investments for all of us and ensures we have the staff we need to serve our community.

That work starts at the end of April when we will meet as a union to begin preparing for bargaining. At the meeting, we will discuss what we want to push for in our new contract and identify next steps to put us in the strongest position possible for negotiations.

It’s important that every department sends representatives to the meetings so that your department can have input on our contract priorities and find out where we go from here.
