About the Summit:
From our TV screens to our newspapers and radios, the battle between the two healthcare giants in our community is impossible to avoid.
For CEOs, the priorities may be market share and profit margins, but for nurses, our bottom line will always be providing quality care to our patients.
As professional caregivers and patient advocates, we share a common commitment to making sure our region’s healthcare dollars are focused on patients first, before advertising and lawyers.
On September 26th, join fellow nurses from across our community to discuss how we can be leaders – not bystanders – in determining the future of our healthcare system.
We will hear from noted nurse leaders, healthcare experts, and State legislators – both Republican and Democratic – who are working together to address the healthcare conflict in our region.
It’s time for nurses’ voices to be heard in our region’s healthcare debates. It’s time to put the care back in healthcare in Pittsburgh.
