SEIU Healthcare PA members at Phoebe Allentown and Phoebe Berks nursing homes are celebrating a hard-fought contract victory. The bargaining committee was able to secure a 6% increase for both wages and contributions to the 401k plan. Under the three-year contract, health insurance co-pays and premiums will also remain the same. The bargaining committee was also able to add language in the contract that promises positive collaborative efforts to improve the lives of staff and nursing home residents.
