SEIU is partnering with the AFL-CIO and San Juan, Puerto Rico to provide aid for the victims of Hurricane Maria.
Nurses are needed for a two-week period. Volunteers will be accepted on a first come, first served basis. The deadline to volunteer for this humanitarian opportunity is 9pm Eastern time on Monday, Oct. 2.
We have had many nurses express interest in helping victims in Texas. We have a partner organization, but to date there have not been opportunities to get Pennsylvania nurses on the ground there. Thanks to all nurses and other healthcare workers who put their name on the list to offer help.
