Our negotiating committee met today with Mount Nittany’s Management team for the first time. We finished up the day not long ago and our committee wanted to reach out to give an update!
We discussed our key priorities and provided management with our non-economic proposals including:
- Recruitment/retention committee involving frontline staff;
- Ability to grow our union as the hospital builds a giant tower and satellite locations;
- Staffing ratios; and
- Safety standards within the health system.
If you agree that we should be prioritizing these non-economic proposals, we need you to join your other co-workers in Solidarity by signing our Unity Petition now! Here is the link: seiuhcpa.org/nittany-23
We will be having a sticker day tomorrow to show that we are united! So here’s what to do:
- STICKER UP!
- TAKE PICTURES WITH YOUR COWORKERS!
- POST THEM TO OUR FACEBOOK GROUP!
We’re heading back to the bargaining table April 26th at 9am and will be inviting everyone to keep joining via Zoom or in person to hear how management responds to our proposals and to see their non-economic proposal.
If you have questions or concerns, reach out to one of the officers or our organizer, Sharon Pope, at 814-414-2219 or at sharon.pope@seiuhcpa.org.
