A Letter from Neal Bisno: Honoring Nurses For All They Do

Posted on May 12, 2015

Today’s nurses are highly skilled professionals – compassionate caregivers, astute researchers, trained process improvement champions, and much more. It is hardly any wonder that polls consistently show that Americans consider nursing the most trusted of all professions.

The nurses of the Nurse Alliance of Pennsylvania are passionately committed to providing the highest quality of care to their patients and to fighting to ensure that every man, woman, and child in our state has access to the safe, high-quality care they need.

This Nurses Week, we highlighted just a few of the many frontline nurses who are advocating for their patients and their communities not just at the bedside, but in the streets, in Harrisburg, and in Washington, DC.  As we read their stories, we are inspired by their dedication and grateful for the life-changing – and life-saving – work they do every day.

As we conclude Nurses Week 2015, the members of the Nurse Alliance of Pennsylvania recommit ourselves to building a broad movement of nurses and healthcare workers for safe, high quality care for every patient and healthy communities for all!
