As summer comes to an end and we send our children back to school, we wanted to update you on what has been happening. We have had many things happening within Geisinger over the last month.
We have finalized chapter elections. Below is a list of all officers and delegates that were elected and seated:
We have also been dealing with getting the contract implemented and hit a few snags along the way. We have filed three class action grievances. Two of those cover per diem employees because the employer is saying that per diems are not eligible for the one-time bonus or movement on the clinical ladder. The other grievance is for radiology: the employer is saying they are not eligible for preceptor pay.

Hello members! This is a friendly reminder that your raises will be in your paycheck on July 19th. You should also see the bonuses for those not getting the clinical ladder. At this time, your contract is in effect. We are working to finalize and print the contract in a book format that will be available for every member.
