Commonwealth Health will begin rolling out a series of enhanced work benefits for all hospital employees. The benefits were presented to union chapter leaders for review prior to roll out and our union accepted the new enhanced benefits being offered. 

The new enhanced benefits being offered include:

  • A student loan repayment and reimbursement program to help employees pay down student loans sooner;
  • Costs associated with licensure and certification as required by your job will be a reimbursable expense;
  • A change to the existing Education Assistance Policy making all employees eligible for up to $5000 in tuition reimbursement for any education, regardless of whether it is related to your current position.

Commonwealth Health will release more details about these benefits next week and offered a FAQ about the student loan program here.
