May is Nurse Week—And we are taking action to stand up for staff staffing and more!
During Nurse Week, the Nurse Alliance is proud to showcase a story each day of a nurse, elected by his or her colleagues, who is making a different in her profession – stay tuned! But we know PA nurses need more than an “employee appreciation” day – we need to speak up for what nurses need for our patients and ourselves. That includes asking for support from our elected officials to have safe staffing standards in Pennsylvania.
- Tuesday, May 9 – 11:45AM: Harrisburg Lobby Day – Nurses from across the state are coming to Harrisburg to talk with their representatives about the importance of safe staffing legislation and what they can do to stand with us and our patients. We will be meeting in the rotunda of the Capitol building at 11:45am. RSVP online: bit.ly/
